It’s been a while. I have been busy with my normal job, learning the banjo, trying to learn to sing, and giving speeches at my Cobb Communicators Toastmasters meetings. I have also been busy working on some additional items that will debut on the website in the next few weeks. Additionally, I have started putting together a demo for a radio show and have begun writing a novel that teaches financial management skills to teenagers. Although I haven’t completed any of these projects, I am excited to announce one project I have been planning will finally happen next Sunday, November 18th at 6:30 PM at Crossview Community Church in Rockmart, GA. I will be speaking about having a plan for Christmas to avoid accruing credit card debt come January. I hope to inspire the audience to take a different approach to how they budget and plan for the Christmas season. The church is supposed to film the speech so I hope to have some if not all of the presentation available on this site by the end of the month. Stay tuned as many great and wonderful things are about to happen that will help to get the Dr. Thrift message out on a larger scale.
