This week I encourage each of you to think about who is the most important employee you have. Are you confused by that? Even if you don’t own a business, I point out in this installment that you do in fact own a business as you have someone who is willing to pay you for your time and talents. Your employer is your customer, making you a business owner. If you are the most important employee you have, shouldn’t you pay yourself not only now but also make sure to hold on to some of the money for the future?
